The Bookshelves

My first "big girl" building project.

Thank you so much my sweet hubby for hanging them up for me.
I made these from the plans on Knock-off wood. I went to Lowe's to buy and have them cut the wood. I borrowed a jigsaw for the round edge on each side of the shelves. 3 of the large shelves (one not pictured is going to go in M's room) cost me less than $10 in wood. I then bought a 8oz. container of sample paint for $3 at Lowe's also.

Now we have a place for several of our favorite books. No more looking at just the binding of the book on the bookshelf...The girls can easily spot their favorite book that they want to read. This equals less messes for mommy to pick up.
